Effective 11 October 2026 · Version 1.0

THE BRAND CODE is an editorial initiative backed by BLACK KEY. This notice explains the limited information collected through this website and how it is used.

What we collect

  • Your email address and selected professional role when you voluntarily join the waitlist.
  • Your explicit consent and the dates needed to maintain the waitlist record.
  • Anonymous first-party page-view events. We do not store an IP address, advertising identifier or cross-site profile in our analytics table.

Why we use it

Waitlist data is used only to send publication updates, Academy invitations and selected Lab releases. Aggregate page-view data helps us understand which pages are useful and maintain the website.

Storage and sharing

Records are stored in the website’s managed database. We do not sell personal information or share the waitlist with unrelated third parties. Service providers may process information only to host and operate the website.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from any message using its opt-out control. You may also request access, correction or deletion through the verified BLACK KEY contact channel supplied with the launch communication. Browser Do Not Track is respected by the page-view measurement.

Retention and security

Waitlist records are retained while THE BRAND CODE is preparing or delivering the releases described above, unless you withdraw consent sooner. We use data minimisation, encrypted transport and restricted access, while recognising that no online system can promise absolute security.

Updates

If this notice changes materially, the effective date and version above will be updated before the new use takes effect.
